We enjoyed our stay. The room was upgraded to a suite and it was beautiful. The staff was friendly and very thorough. The hotel had a sense of character to it. We enjoyed the breakfasts and lunch in the bar. The drinks were very good in the lounge. We unfortunately didn't know about tea in advance and forgot to make a reservation but that looked like it would be fun also. We had no issues at all during our stay. We would definitely come back.

Several years ago, I booked a meeting at this hotel. I had traveled to New Orleans on an exploratory trip to locate a site for our nationwide meeting of approximately thirty corporate representatives. I was walking on Canal Street when I spotted the charming courtyard of the Windsor Court. Upon entering, I was warmly greeted and very impressed with the beauty of the lobby. When I saw the meeting rooms, restaurant and guest rooms, I was sold.

New Orleans is a unique experience and the Windsor Court is a fabulous hotel that I wanted to share with my wife. We had planned to go some years back but Hurricane Katrina encouraged me to wait until the city recovered. I looked at hotels on TripAdvisor and found that Windsor Court still looked just as I remembered it from fifteen years ago. I booked a standard room and requested an upgrade to an 800 sq. ft. suite which we got for an additional $200 total for the four nights.

The photos you see on TripAdvisor and the hotel website will give you some idea of the beauty of this hotel. I have traveled extensively in the U.S. in conjunction with my job and have never been as satisfied with a hotel as I am with the Windsor Court. They have an extensive art collection displayed throughout the hotel. The dining room is magnificent with the wall at each end adorned by a huge mural. The food was excellent and the atmosphere was enhanced with music from the grand piano.

Everywhere you look in this hotel you see attention to detail. Displays of cut flowers are abundant; the carpets are immaculate; the tile floors and walls are perfect; the wallpapers are flawless; and all of the furniture looks like it is new. The room furnishings are abundant with plenty of lighting.

I highly recommend the Windsor Court Hotel.

Room Tip: Our suite on the 17th floor was very quite. Harrah's Casio is across the street and proved to b...

The Windsor Court is only a 10 minute walk from Bourbon Street or Jackson Square, yet upon entering it's private courtyard entrance you literally feel as if you are in an exclusive resort - which is not so much the vibe in the French Quarter! The room we stayed in was very large (one bedroom suite, 800 square feet), very well-appointed (nice little touches like a tie hanger, lint brush, Keurig coffee-maker) and very quiet. Staff were accommodating (housekeeping was GREAT) and during Mardi Gras many parades actually pass right beside the hotel. Close to the waterfront, the trendy Warehouse district (you could walk to Couchon), and only a 10 minute cab ride to the Garden District and Magazine Street, it is really perfectly located for exploring the Crescent City. I would definitely stay here again.

We have stayed at this hotel maybe half a dozen times over the last few years. We were never overly impressed but this last stay was much better. We have stayed at much nicer hotels but this is near the top by NOLA standards. We had issues here in the past with broken furniture, torn upholstery or mold in the bathroom. We had none of those issues this time.

We chose to give the hotel one last try because it was competitively priced for the comfort level we were looking for. The room was very comfortable and of ample size. We received turn down service the second night we stayed but not the first night. The valet parking is very expensive. Overall, based on our last stay, we will continue to consider the Windsor Court for future visits to NOLA.

We stayed at the Windsor Court during our Christmas vacation, the hotel was terrific. We continue to be amazed at how large the rooms are and how friendly the staff is. The holiday decorations were a nice touch and the hotel was very busy with holiday tea parties.

Posh hotel. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. The courtyard entrance is charming. We were there right after Christmas and the decorations, including a giant real tree, were beautiful. Room was very comfortable. TV signal was bad but we weren't in New Orleans to watch TV. Across the street from Harrah's casino.

Enjoyed a stay at the Windsor Court and was absolutely impressed. From the demeanor of the staff at check-in, to the spacious and well-kept rooms, all in a fantastic location near the French Quarter, the Windsor Court was top notch.
Our group had several suites, each varied a bit from the other, but every one was excellent. To say there was plenty of room was an understatement. Room layout was convenient, with access to the washroom from both the master bedroom and the adjoining social area.
Beds were comfy, with nice linens. Climate control was effective and consistent. Views were great from the 15th floor, even not being on the "river view" side.
The Polo Lounge on the second floor was a favorite of the entire group. Service staff was patient with us and quite accommodating. The live jazz group that played was enjoyable and while this might be "typical" for New Orleans, I thought they were quite excellent and above par.
Cabs were available instantly in most cases and the entry area was convenient and comfortable even in foul weather. Hope to stay here again some day.

Room Tip: View was great from the 15th floor, even on the non-"river view" side.
