This hotel is in a great location on Common St- just a couple of blocks from St Charles and about 1.5 blocks from Canal. Can very easily walk to the French Quarter. The room was very clean and plenty big enough for the 4 of us.

Stayed in July 2012. Beds are incredible! Property is overstated on most sites as it is a older hotel with no coffee in room. Pretty sure the overload on the outlet in bathroom blew up my curling iron...no worries bought a new one!
Close walking to Bourbon Street!

This place was wonderful! The ceilings were at least 20 feet high with pillars throughout the hotel. Old statues decorate the lobby and hallways. It has an old world, European style. If you're looking for a modern hotel, this place is not for you. The restaurant in the hotel had good food and was reasonably priced. It was only open for breakfast and dinner, though. The location was only a block off of the French Quarter and within walking distance of Burbon St.

I stayed at the Pelham while in town for a conference and had a good experience. The front desk was friendly and helpful. The room was a little rough around the edges, but overall very nice -- especially for the price. This room was a much better deal than the conference hotel would have been, and had a lot more charm!

My stay was not good. I became stuck on the elevator, found a bug in my bed, and it smelled terrible from water damage which had never been fixed. It was also very dated. Hot water was slow, things were clearly damaged and old. Its one redeeming qualit was the friendly workers.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with windows, has interior rooms.

My partner and I came to New Orleans last weekend for the Essence festival and wanted a smaller boutique hotel with character and New Orleans style situated within minutes from the French Quarter and the Super Dome. The location was perfect. We checked in early morning on Friday and were able to access our room right away. Staff were great throughout our stay - extremely courteous and efficient and provided us with wonderful recommendations.

Our room was presented beautifully: white linen, newly renovated bathroom with full bath, toiletries were basic but adequate. The historic hotel has wonderful character - loved the high ceilings! AC worked fine and WIFI was excellent.

Valet was $30.

Thank you for a wonderful time Pelham.
