My husband and I drove to Inn on St Peter, New Orleans,LA, a 750 mile trip. On the way we stayed at a hotel in Montgomery AL and had a bite to eat at a local eatery. My husband got very ill with what we later learned was food poisoning. We arrived in New Orleans a day early, and unfortunately was unable to check into the Inn as it was completely booked. Carol at the front desk, realizing my husband was ill worked to get us other accomadations for the night. We ended up going to an Urgent Care the next morning and when we returned to the Inn the next day for the rest of our stay, both Carol and Elisa, the director of housekeeping, rushed to get our room ready. They truly seemed concerned with my husband's well being. Carol has a very outgoing personality, and Elisa is very professional. Our room was on the balcony, very comfortable and well maintained. The only thing missing was an in-room refrigerator, but otherwise was very well appointed. We ended up needing to leave early and Carol got us reimbursement for the remainder of our reservations, something she initiated, which we very much appreciated. I definitely give this hotel and it's staff 2 thumbs up! Thank you Carol and Elisa. We highly recommend the Inn on St Peter and hope to return one day.
