We had a conference at the hotel and therefore chose it for convenience. Overall the experience was adequate. It was close to the French Quarter and restaurants. Perhaps the staff were overwhelmed but the service left much to be desired. My friend called for room service one night and nobody picked up the phone. When she contacted the front desk, they simply said that they had no way of helping. She ended up coming down to the bar to order food. The rooms are a little outdated but comfortable.

There were multiple conferences going on last week, and with the addition of the jazz festival traffic at the end of the week, all in all this hotel did well. Staff was pleasant and helpful. The elevators as pretty cool too-punch your floor number into the key pad and it tells you what elevator to go to. No buttons to push!

Meeting spaces were nice.

If you choose to "go green" while there, the service staff never enters your room. You call them or meet them in the hall and can trade out materials and linens as needed, but no traffic in and out of your room everyday. You get either a $5 voucher each night you choose this good at either the Bistro or Starbucks. Or, if you are a preferred guest you can trade them in for 500 points each when you leave.

Good, convenient stay.

Very nicely located so close to everything! Went to French quarter/ bourbon street daily with short stroll. The staff was all very accommodating! The breakfasts if you are on club level is great and workout area and pool are very nice. Will definitely be returning next time!

We did a couples weekend and our rooms were really nice. Great views from both rooms and close walking distance to every place we wanted to go. The pools are nice and the staff is very attentive. The parking is a little expensive but it's NOLA so that's to be expected. Definately will book here again.

Spent a long weekend here with a group of friends and we had a great time and were very pleased with the Sheraton. It has recently went through a large renovation and the common areas are very modern while the rooms are very comfortable. The new mattresses were very comfortable.

The check-in was quick and they even switched our room to an accessible room in order to make enough room for us to add a roll-away bed into our room. They were very accommodating to our needs and did so right away. We also liked the option to get a $5 voucher to Starbucks or the bar if we opted out of having house cleaning in for the day. The bartenders were extremely friendly and fun and the pool on the 8th floor was adequate even though it was very small. There were never many people using the pool at any point anyway.

The location was excellent for us, as we didn't want to be directly on Bourbon Street and this was only a couple blocks away. We were also in walking distance to Harrah's casino and the River Walk/Jackson Square area. There were some excellent restaurants nearby as well and we could walk to everything we wanted to do.

I would definitely stay here again when we return and would recommend it to anyone traveling to New Orleans. Everything about the hotel was first-class and the price was very reasonable for the location.
