Hotel Provincial is in an excellent location of the French Quarter. It's in the Residential side, so it's a lot quieter but still within walking distance of everything if you plan to stay in the area. Valet Parking is a lot more reasonably priced here than most of the other hotels in the area, which was another deciding factor on staying here. The staff are very nice. Our room was in the Old Hospital portion of the hotel which is supposedly haunted by confederate soldiers. Sadly, I didn't witness anything crazy, so there is no need to worry if you are superstitious. ;) I liked our room, which was small but cute. My only gripe is that I went to New Orleans when it was extremely cold out, and I don't think our Heat was working properly. Other than that, I had a great time and would definitely stay again!

This hotel is right in the French Quarter on Chartres Street. We have stayed at this hotel twice now and it will definitely be our first choice for accommodation when we visit again. The rooms are clean and very comfortable and besides its great location, has quite the history. The courtyard is beautiful and you can sit there anytime and enjoy a coffee or drink and everything in the French Quarter is walking distance from the hotel. Café Dumond and Bourbon Street are only a couple of blocks away. We always go to a Saints game when we are there and walking to the Superdome from here is very easy. You won't be disappointed with your stay at this hotel. Great staff and service and affordable.

We enjoyed our stay here with two young kids. The place has a lot of character and is in a superb location. Very comfy beds. Very clean. My only complaints are that the pool is not fully fenced and right outside room doors (maybe put families with young kids somewhere else) and there are barely any tables for breakfast. It would have been nice to get help from staff instead of them just watching when we were unable to get a table while our kids screamed

We stood three nights from November 28 to December 1 in room 114. We loved the place and the staff is wonderful. We had one incident, but they immediately took care of it. The Location could not be better, just two blocks from Muriels and Jackson Square. You have Irene's right around the corner and they have amazing food. We skipped the continental breakfast which is included, but the coffee is very good, as per my husband.

We really enjoyed our weeks stay at The Provincial. The staff are super friendly and offer helpful advice on sights to see local eateries etc. The hotel is quirky with seperate buildings our room was in an old military hospital , said to be haunted , but we didn't see any evidence of that !
There is a good free breakfast and the bar has a happy 3 hours ! The bar staff are very friendly and were happy to improve our knowledge of American Football watching the Saints on TV .
Great location in the French Quarter. The hotel has 2 pools neither of which are heated. I tried the larger one out , very cold but lovely clear water and in the warmer months would be great !

I stayed here with a small group of family members in the spring and we were very pleased with the hotel. It is an older complex of buildings that have been refurbished, but that is part of the charm. It is near enough to many sights, but far enough from the chaos of Bourbon St. The continental breakfast is nothing to write home about, but there are plenty of local coffee shops nearby. The staff were very friendly and helpful. This is a great out of the way hotel that is NOT too touristy.

We stayed one night in this hotel and was very pleased. It's an old place but we'll kept and secure at night. We stayed in building 5, which is supposed to be haunted, but I'm sad to say, no ghouls spotted. It's close to Jackson square, the French market and lots of great restaurants. I've stayed many places in Nola and this place I would def visit again.

Room Tip: The rooms in bldg 5 have balconies over the street where street performers play jazz, really enjoyab...
