The room was clean, staff was nice, and it was convenient to everything in the quarter around the Jackson Square area. Our room was 320 and right on the street. If you don't mind being awake all night, it's great. If you like your sleep, ask for another room.
Overall a good stay, but not sure we would choose again with all the other options available.

Room Tip: Room 320 is noisy at night-but to the credit it has a great balcony!

We stayed here for Mardi Gras for 5 nights. Loved the courtyards, rooms was very clean, bathroom was very small. The hot water fluctuated during showers, was kind of annoying. Walls are extremely thin, we could here everything going on in the room next to us and outside. It was adequate considering it was Mardi Gras but don't think it was worth 300.00 a night. The staff was awesome and we loved the bartender!!!!

Hotel Provincial is right in the heart of the French Quarter just 2 short blocks from both Bourbon Street and Decatur, but miles away in terms of noise. I loved that they had both parking and a continental breakfast, and the staff was always helpful if I needed advice or directions.

My room was small, but nice. The view was nothing to right home about (it faced the parking lot), but I am so happy with my decision to stay at the Hotel Provincial.

My only complaint was the adjoining room had their TV turned waaay up all the time and I could hear everything. Otherwise, very nice.

We stayed for Mardi Gras and were quite disappointed with our room in building 5. Furnishings were average, bathroom was renovated but water smelt oily, carpets and walls in hallways fairly abused, feathers and debris on hallway carpets and floors remained day after day.The breakfast was average with eggs, pastries, toast, bagels, fat-free yoghurt, cereal and coffee. 3 days of the 4 we stayed there was no water nor fruit? Staff other than breakfast staff were friendly.

There is lots of clean towels but the bedding was never changed in the 4 days we stayed. Perhaps Mardi Gras means less attentiveness to rooms and customers.

There are a lot of choices for Mardi Gras accommodation - I think there is a better choice for $300+ a night. Didn't hate it but didn't love it either. Average.

Room Tip: Building 5 old, rooms around garden area seem to be a little bit nicer.

The staff were really helpful and always willing to please. The room was very French/ funky...loved the antiques. Just a heads up no mini fridge but has everything else. I.e. ice machine snack machine. Really appreciated he breakfast. Cereal, bagels yogurt, croissants and coffee/juice every day. Also has a happy hour which we used but the price wasn't the typical happy hour price other bars lounges were cheaper with the two for one or three for one. Absolutely no complaints would definitely stay there again! The location in French quarter was really good too for walking or the trolley. Next to royal street-antiques and French market-a must and Jackson square for painters/music.
