What a wonderful place to stay in the heart of the French Quarter! Convenient to local attractions. The room service was fabulous. Check in staff were so kind. A sanctuary within blocks of the Bourbon Street craziness. I'll be back.

We stayed in a double room. I would suggest upgrading to a bigger room, this is not big enough for two people unless you don't mind climbing over suitcases.

Now to the positives!
- Price fantastic value for money!
- Locations - one street back from Bourbon St, close to all attractions
- Hotel - Beautiful traditional French inspired hotel. There is a lovely bar, pool and lookout on the top floor. Great place to have a couple of quiet drinks and enjoy the view of the Mississippi River
- Room - Bed was very comfortable and room had black out curtains. Doorways are fairly noisy so as for one away from people if you like to sleep.
- Concierge - very helpful with recommendations for restaurants & tours

A great place to enjoy New Orleans. The heart of the French Quarter is right there for you to enjoy and stroll to, but it is far enough away to be peaceful at the end of a busy day/evening. You don't need a car.

It was our wedding anniversary and the hotel gave us a bottle of 'fizz' to celebrate, The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was sunny and I made the most of the rooftop pool. I didn't use the gym but it looked well equipped. The breakfast was what you would expect from an American hotel, fast and efficient.

We were on the 3rd floor overlooking the Supreme Court, didn't have a balcony which would have been nice.

Stayed in a "premier" king with a balcony. pretty standard as hotel rooms go.
our balcony faced St. Louis st. and the back of the Supreme Court building. when asked about a balcony room facing Royal st. instead, the staff seem confused about the request. apparently "nobody" had ever asked before. hmm...
the rooftop pool and observation deck were nice, but the weather was pretty uncooperative during our stay.
the true value of this hotel lies in it's location: a block and a half from Bourbon Street. close enough to stumble home, yet far enough to get a good nights sleep.
Not a bad place to stay, but i would expect more from a luxury hotel.

Room Tip: St. Louis st. faces the back of the Louisianna Supreme Court building. ask for a balcony room on Royal.

Thank you for taking the time to post feedback from your past stay. Our hotel does offer Balcony rooms on both St. Louis Street and Royal Street. The staff works diligently to meet all of our guests’ requests, however in your case it seems as though we were not able to. We sincerely apologize that the preferred room was not available during your stay. The weather does play a large factor into a vacation in New Orleans. We hope that does not stop you from visiting our beautiful City and hotel again. Thank you again for your time and business.

I stayed at the Royal Orleans for two nights on a business trip. I was very pleased with the accompodations. The hotel was very conveneintly located for my business requirements and to the French Quarter. Despite being located in the French Quarter it was very quiet. I would definately stay here again.
