This hotel is great. The people who work there are terrific across the board. The pool is very nice on the roof, as is the adjacent patio. The rooms are comfortable and clean. You really get a lot of value for your money here. Five short blocks to the French Quarter. This is a great hotel. (Also, the breakfast spread is amazingly decadent).

If you plan on staying in New Orleans and do not want to stay in the French Quarter, I suggest that you stay at Le Pavillon Hotel. You are greeted like Royalty when you check in... and if by chance you are a returning customer..(Like I am).. You receive a beautiful gift basket from the manager thanking you on returning to the hotel. The 10:00 p.m. tradition of meeting in the lobby for a peanut butter, jelly sandwich and milk is not to be missed. The roof top swimming pool is cool and I absolutely love the restaurant too! Great food with great service!! Can't wait to return to this wonderful hotel!

Room Tip: I would ask for a room with a good view.

The hotel is very nice, the rooms are good sized and clean. The design is classic but it doesn't feel old. Location is not the best but OK, I didn't feel very safe wandering outside at night yet it is quite close to the French Quarter. The BIG but is my breakfast... 20$ for buffet with hardly any choice of bread, no cheese or cold-cuts (or vegetables for that matter) and when the bill arrived - surprise - no drinks either so I ended up paying extra for the coffee and juice... The toaster didn't work and overall it was a sour tasting end to my stay. Bottom-line: stay there but eat elsewhere...

Beautiful hotel - room 403 was small, but very nicely appointed and clean. King size bed was very comfortable. From the minute we drove up until the time we left, we were always greeted with a welcoming smile and top notch service. Lobby is beautiful. Would stay here again.

We've stayed at Le'Pavillion many times. It's a great hotel, rich in history and beautifully decorated with antiques. A couple of days before our trip we received an email asking about our preferences. We specified that we preferred a high floor room, but were given a room on the third floor--so not really sure why they sent the Emil. That being said our room was fine. Perfectly clean, nicely stocked with bottled water and fresh fruit. We missed the pb&j that night because we were out but had nice pb&j cookies in our room.
The best part of our stay was the next day when we met Pam, the bartender. She is awesome! Get her "Pam's perfect Bloody Mary" it will rock your world! Pam is in the Crystal Room. Stop in and say hey. It will make your day!

Booked on Hotwire, rated 4.5 star. Not even a 3. Basically an old hotel in serious need of a major renovation. You win some, you lose some. This hotel is a disappointment. Owners, check out some real 'historic' 4-5 star hotels. Travelers, you can do better in New Orleans.

Wonderful service this is a place time forgot in a good way the staff cares about your needs and wants. A must if in New Orleans and very reasonable I may add.. Great GREAT GREAT !!!!!!!!! This place is not a chain hotel they are very detail people , the turn down service and nice is like home away from home. History everywhere like going back 100 years with yesterday's service and with today's needs being met and exceeded !
