My daughter and I enjoyed our stay. The staff was excellent, from the bell man to the reservation staff. Although the hotel is historic and beautiful, it is also clean and modern. The beds were so comfy! The price was so reasonable.

Room Tip: We were on the third floor and it was peacefull!

Seriously, stay here!
Dripping in faded grandeur, this place is just so decedent , flappy, New Orleans. From the grisely portraits of children on the hotels corridors, to the 'well lived-in-ness' of the rooms, this hotel is nonetheless soaked in history, and regardless of your belief in the supernatural, just so worth a stay at! My hubby and I stayed for four nights, midweek in late Sept, and it was a very reasonable 70 euro ish per night....
Can't recommend this place enough, and haven't even mentioned the free peanut butter and jelly sandwiches with hot choc at 10pm each nite (free in lobby!)

We chose the hotel because it was close to the Amtrak station. We were impressed by the staff who went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The room with two queen beds was beautiful and comfortable. The staff in both the lounge and restaurant were professional and couldn't do enough for you. Excellent, delicious food. Will be back again.

We recently spent 4 nights at the Pavillion. After arriving at 2 am exhausted from flight delays, we were greeted by a lovely staff who offered us PBJ and hot chocolate, a late night specialty of the house, We retired instead to our lovely room where the beds were awesome! after a refreshing night's sleep we had a wonderful roomservice breakfeast ( a bit pricey _ better to go down to the dining room), then enjoyed some R&R at the rooftop pool.
While this is a restored hotel in the business district, it was perfect to be just a few blocks from the Quarter where we could enjoy the quiet and great service. The concierge (s) were so helpful as we had not had time to do much planning - (I highly recommend you make your dinner reservations before ) and we enjoyed several fine dinners and a fabulous brunch, all recommended and arranged by them.
there is a nice bar for later in the evening where you can relax. The only thing we missed were the ghosts - we were not haunted once! Le Pavillion is one of the 2 hotels in the city who have a history of being haunted and while we did not have time to take advantage of it they offer a fun bath service complete with seancelike turn down. Would definitely recommend this lovely hotel!

Spent 4 days at this hotel with my husband and 2 grown up daughters.
We liked the hotel, and the girls called it "the Plantation"
Old fashion style.
Great lokation, only 5-8 minuts to walk to Bourbun street.
The wiev from top roof was awaome and the swimmingpoll and surronding area as well.
Breakfast was a bit expensive bur have all.
The staff was very helpfull and smiling.

I stayed for a convention, it was the best value in the area. Room was very clean. Brass fixtures in bathroom looked a bit worn but brass always wears badly. Plastic splash guard on shower door needed bleach but you wouldn't notice unless you took a bath. Room was cold! Ac works very well. It made for good sleeping for this northerner.
Staff was very nice, front door man always had a smile. Breakfast buffet was good but only on an expense account! Wish I had skipped the omelet which I could get anywhere to save room for the biscuits and gravy. It was some of the best gravy i've ever had.
As other reviews said the style of this hotel is old fashioned and ornate. But it is comfortable not snobby. It feels special not a cookie cutter hotel at all.

This a beautiful hotel in a good location. Very convenient 10 minute walk to Bourbon Street and French Quarter, Also about a 10-15 minute walk to casino and riverfront. About a 35-40 minute walk from the Garden District. Rooftop pool and jacuzzi were very nice. Hotel room was nice but bathroom needed to be updated. There was a problem with the bathroom plumbing when we checked in. After 2 attempts, the problem was corrected. The staff at this hotel were really friendly and helpful. We valet parked the car for $35/day and walked everywhere. For a very nice and reasonably priced breakfast option, try PJ's which is less than a block from the hotel.
