I stayed at this hotel while visiting the city for the first time for a dear friend's wedding. The hotel was clean (I'm a neat freak), very modern, and nicely air-conditioned (which was SUPER important since it was around 98* and stupid humid every day I was there).
The lobby was very cool with a great bar and comfy chairs.
I read a review that told me to ask for a high floor over looking Camp Street and I did that and was granted the request. It was very quiet and I heard no noise from the street, but it was a fairly quiet street anyway and all I over looked was a parking garage and some other buildings. I also read a review that the hallway smelled damp and wet and that WAS true for me on the tenth floor for sure. But my room smelled fine and it was clean and comfortable. The bed was comfortable as well.
The hotel was easy to get to and in a great location for all the sights and touristy things you will do when you are in NOLA. Not sure if I'd stay there again, only because there are SO MANY nice hotels in the city.More
