“Everything a person could ask for in a first rate hotel”

Great location - close to everything that makes the French Quarter memorable. A very impressive staff - hopefully you will get to meet Raymond B. at the valet desk - he will immediately put you in a Big Easy kind of mood. Rooms are up to date, very clean and the staff is incredibly accommodating. Free wi-fi in the public areas, but a charge if you use the wi fi in your room :( - you'd think by now that charging for wi-fi should go the way that charging for drink refills has gone. Overall, a wonderful place to stay.

The hotel is located on the corner of Iberville and Bourbon. Your so close to everything. The hotel rooms were clean and the staff was very friendly. The view in our room was over looking Iberville. This is a great hotel I would highly recommended.

Beautiful hotel, great location, but beware of hidden fees. All depending on what's happening that weekend, you may have to end up paying for your guests to come and visit you. Also, there's an extra charge if you book 3-4 people in one room.

Overall, great comfy rooms, one block off of Canal and Bourbon, great balconies and view of courtyard, GREAT EXPERIENCE OVERALL

The hotel is well located at the northwest corner of the Quarter. It is on the corner of Iberville and Bourbon. There is a wonderful back entrance and exit on Canal Street that works with your key. The hotel is only 4 stories high and rooms look out over the pool courtyard or the non-pool courtyard, or over the street. One of our rooms looked out over the pool bar - Room 343. There is only one elevator and the room was as far from it as possible, but was a nice quiet room. (Unless there were kids in the pool!) Our other room looked out over Bourbon Street - this is at the far end of Bourbon, so it's not super active and was also a quiet room. (Non-holiday weekend).

#343 had two windows and was very spacious with a king bed at one end and a sofa sectional at the other with a large square coffee table. The bathroom had a walk in glass shower. The other room (#362 I THINK!) had only one window and the same furniture, just a bit more crowded. The bathroom was a standard tub/shower.

Everything was within a few blocks and we'd stay here again. Especially with the $92/night Priceline rate! Everyone slept like a rock - the beds are firm and very comfortable.

Room Tip: Away from the elevator will have less hallway noise, but might be a bit of a hike!

We spent one night at the Hyatt French Quarter (be sure you're looking at the one on Iberville Street, not the convention center venue) and were highly satisfied. The only downside was that our room - on the top floor, so very quiet - had no view whatsoever. However, the room was spacious, well-appointed, and ultra-clean, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The concierge was extremely helpful. There's a terrific little cafe across from the front desk, and they're open late with a decent selection of fine desserts and light fare. Expect to pay through the nose for parking, but that's the norm in NOLA. The location is excellent, right n the heart of the French Quarter and bordering Bourbon street.

This hotel was top notch and was very happy to have stayed there on our first trip to New Orleans. Great location, helpful front desk team and a very nice room overlooking the pool area. The Red Fish Grille inside the hotel is worth the wait. We will stay here again next time we come to New Orleans.
