Wonderful tour, Susan Foster was great guide, very knowledgeable and friendly. Enjoyed all the stops, I would suggest doing this tour early in your visit. She gives a lot of suggestions for places to eat and drink according to your preferences. Highly recommend.

We had a great tour with Suzanne. We learned the difference between Creole and Cajun cooking and received generous samples of red beans and rice, gumbo, jambalaya, muffuletta and pralines. We were able to stop and purchase items as well. At the end of the tour, I stayed and purchased a muffuletta to bring back to my family. Learned a lot, not to much walking and enjoyed the company

Loved our tour guide Suzanne.Nice walking tour, great restaurants and food samples. We went back for more at a couple of them the next day.
Suzanne told many great stories of people and restaurants we visited or just walked by.
I hope to see her again someday.
Highly recommend this reasonably price leisure tour.

We took the tour wanting to hear history of the food and taste some of the local specials. The food was good, the choices were great and the portions were small but enough for a good taste. I wish there would have been more history, how did okra get to New Orleans, why does Creole use tomatoes, did the slaves or the rich or common make the and create these flavors and dishes? I wish there were more to the stories and the history about the food, area, etc.

We went to a few different restaurants and learned about each of the local foods and why they are the way they are. Great group of people.
