A favorite for years. Quality, fresh food. I felt like they had gotten in a rut for a while. Now? Wow! A spring roll bar that is awesome, some brighter decor, and of course, great Pho and noodle bowls. A great place just got better.

Ordered Spring Rolls which were delicious and even their peanut and chili sauces were tasty. Had the Shrimp Vercemilli Noodle bowl and it was perfect. The atmosphere was cozy and a perfect place for a date. I will be going back.

Had dinner here on a recent trip to the Crescent City. I love Vietnamese food, and there is always vegetarian options for my girlfriend. The service here was good. The location is great. The menu looked good... But, when everything showed up, I was less than impressed. It was like the Asian equivalent of noodles and sauce. I think I could go to the grocery store and get some rice noodles and some premade peanut sauce, throw it in the microwave, and it would be about what showed up... I must reiterate that it was not bad, it just was not good. If I'm headed out to a meal, I like to be impressed, not just filled up.

Lackluster food, nothing special. Oddly limited menu, the vegetarian choices were weak. I've had much better Vietnamese food elsewhere.

Many people don't realize that New Orleans has the largest Vietnamese population in the U.S. Vietnamese food IS New Orleans food. Jazmine Cafe is a very good, inexpensive vietnamese restaurant. The store is recently remodeled and pretty. Excellent service, delicious food. Lots of good vegetarian options. The menu and staff are very accessible for those who don't know much about vietnamese food (English menu descriptions and staff who answer all questions with a smile). Accessible from the quarter via St. Charles Streetcar. Also, it doesn't get too loud inside. Good place to talk with friends during a meal.
