We found this great little restaurant 3 years ago when our daughter moved to NOLA. She had heard it was good, and asked us to take her there back when. We have never been disappointed in the quality or service. Our favorite appetizers are the crab cakes which are made without breading. They are sweet and succulent and make your taste buds happy, especially when served with fried merliton. The seafood is always done in a savory creative way and they are careful with diet restrictions such as gluten free. They know rice flour works just as well, or better as traditional wheat flour!
I completely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great culinary experience without the tourist trap feel.

This is certainly one of the best restaurants in the Riverbend area, and one of our favorite restaurants in the entire New Orleans area. We are regular, repeat customers. The menu includes a number of excellent appetizers, including the char-grilled oysters, scallops, crab cakes, and liver and mushroom pate. Top entree choices include the cochon de lait, Gulf fish of the day, and the beef tenderloin. When available as a special, the soft shell crab is another outstanding choice. The restaurant offers a number of very good desserts, but the panna cotta is truly exceptional and not to be missed.

We went to ONE with another couple and although we had heard some nice things, we were totally taken with the food.

This place from the outside would make you think twice about going in, but in typical New Orleans fashion, you get surprised if you do. From the variety of appetizers (salads, gumbo, escargot, etc) to the steak, crab cakes, fish, etc...to the deserts; strawberry shortcake, chocolate molten cake, etc we were all quite satisfied with our choices.

This place is now on our FAV's LIST and we will be back again.

The soft shell crabs, the cocktails, the laid-back uptown feel.

The St. Charles line currently ends here and what a great find. While not busy on a Tuesday night, we were welcomed into a modern white table establishment with the food prep right there. Valerie got us started with beverages and a quick intro to the menu and specials. We chose the Crab Cakes and the Char Broiled Oysters. Both were excellent. Sharing the three Tomatoe Salad left us with lots of room for the main courses. The beef tenderloin was cooked perfectly with a great presentation of scalloped potatoes. The Mahi Mahi was as good as any Seafood Restaurant we have eaten at. Great Sorbet finished off an excellent meal. This is a restaurant we will revisit.
