I initially picked this place for the "look" of New Orleans (rather than a chain hotel) and because it had a hot tub. Plus the reviews on Trip Advisor were nothing but positive. I am SO glad I did! From the moment we walked in until the time we left, our hosts made us feel welcome and special. Phillip gave us a house tour, then spent time showing us all the best places to eat and visit, all marked on a map. David is full of information about the town and gives a wonderful history lesson of what life was like in the 1800s when the house was built. Traveling with my 17 year old son, room 12 was perfect for us. It has a sitting room with a futon/bed and TV and a separate bedroom with a pocket door in between. The neighborhood is eclectic and alive with people and we never felt unsafe walking around. Frenchman St. with restaurants and jazz clubs is a short 4 block away and there's even a Walgreen's within walking distance. I could go on and on about this place but the best thing I can say is, "I'll be back."
