This a a great historic building and restaurant. The poor boys are outstanding. The appetizers delicious. There is a bar open area, restaurant area and courtyard seating. Wait staff very professional, knows the menu and the history of the city.

Sharon,
Thank you for your review on Tripadvisor. A lot of people do not realize we are a lot bigger than just that front room that you see from the street. We have another large dining room, courtyard dining, upstairs dining and balcony dining. We appreciate you taking a few moments to share your comments and we hope to have you join us again soon.
Sincerely

We had a quick lunch here after a tour on the Steamboat Natchez (don't waste your time or money, basically just a trip up an industrial river), and was glad we'd chosen not to eat lunch there as the food looked really basic and boring. The food here instead was just what we wanted and there was a good selection too. Friendly service and loved how they'd opened all the doors to outside, which gave it a really cosmopolitan feel.

Thank you for the recent review on Tripadvisor. We certainly are glad you decided to dine with us as well. True, the splendor that was once lining the banks of the Mississippi have been diminished in later years, to be replaced by industry. We also miss the river of yesteryear. Thank you for sharing your experience and we hope to have you join us again soon. We promise to hold onto our old world charm as long as possible.
Sincerely

I was in NOLA for work and stopped by here for a great view with my lunch. The location is ideal & the food is great. The drinks are very tasty, as well. I love the muffoletto, just wish it had more meat on it, for the price. The service is excellent & did I mention the balcony seats are great.

Stopped in with two kids in tow unsure if they even had a kid's menu. They did which was a relief because we were hot and needed a break from all the walking/shopping. The food was delicious and our waitress was friendly and attentive. It was my husband's first time trying gumbo and red beans and rice. Both were outstanding!

We stopped in on the way back to our hotel for a few drinks and a snack. Service was amazing, bartender had great recommendations for us, food was good. Small restaurant, we had the crawfish cake appetizer and it was super delicious! Would recommend this place for lunch or a mid day snack!
