“Not authentic Cajun/Creole Food.”
Reviewed June 19, 2013

The food lacked proper seasoning and the sauces were too dark for this type of food and it was way over priced. Too many good places in New Orleans to eat here.

“Go When The Sun's Out”
Reviewed June 6, 2013

We didn't realize that the main feature of the room is the skylight when we made reservations for a late dinner. It was pretty desserted, but the service was fast, and the turtle jambalya & burger were great.

“Ritz for lunch”
Reviewed May 31, 2013

We were on break for lunch at a conference. We strolled across Canal Street and had lunch. My sandwich with funnel cake fries was awesome. There were enough to share with the table.

“Below average everything”
Reviewed May 24, 2013 via mobile

When we tried to book a reservation they could only take us after 8:30. We arrived at 8:45 to a half empty room. There was one large table down the middle of the room with about 25 guests. We were seated at a table and ordered drinks. The first course, wedge salad with nice fresh seafood in a nice dressing and my husband had a soft shell crab that was fried but served cold and very soft.
We asked for bread several times but to no avail. The water glasses are dark blue so the waiter could never tell if we were out of water or not.
Main courses arrived after over an hour, along with the bread. I had ordered the soft shell crab for a main course and once again had to send it back to be heated. My husband had the red fish which was fine but not very nice looking, everything on the plate was brown.
We did order a simple dessert which took another 30 minutes. So after almost 2 hours and many request we were given the bill.
The bar next to the restaurant was playing very good jazz and it was pleasant to listen to while we waited.
