There are many restaurants in the Bourbon St area, but this is one if not the best one! There is always a line of people outside so you know it's good. We had a party of 12 and since they don't take reservations on the weekend, we waited about 20 minutes before we were seated 2 floors up! There's lots of tables on each floor and lots of servers. We had the most gracious, friendly and knowledgeable server, David. We started with daquaris and lemonade, then on to the crab cakes, salads, catfish platters, chicken fettuccini alfredo, taste of New Orleans- they were all very well prepared, excellent presentations and temperature perfect! The best dessert was... the New Orleans Bread pudding!!!!

The service was fast and staff friendly. We got right in but we were eating a little early. The food was great! We had the crab cakes which were delicious as was the rest of the food. We have no complaints and would definitely eat here again.

We ate dinner here. We had the crab cakes appetizer, delicious!! I had the Alfredo pasta with crawfish tails and shrimp and my husband had the pasta with shrimp, crabmeat (I think). They were both very good. Service was excellent.

Went here as it had good reviews which also advised to go early or queue. Went about 5.30pm, four adults and a child. Not sure whether the restaurant was full at that time as we were shown to a small area next to the bar with about 4 tables. They were OK but quite a busy area as staff passing back and forth to the oyster bar and another room.

Menu is very good, wide choice, huge helpings!

Great margaritas!

Staff were fine, when we came out at about 6.30pm there was quite a queue outside so they’re clearly doing something right.

Have since found out that this restaurant featured on “Ramsay’s Kitchen Nighmares”, can’t believe Gordon left it quite the way it is decoratively but the food can’t be faulted.

WE were there the Saturday of The Red Dress Run. It's a NOLA tradition. It was packed and we had about a 15 minute wait. The service was good, they had multiple people helping each table. The HURRICANE here was absolutely the BEST!!! It put my wife on her butt. We order blacken and fried Alligator bites for appetizer. They were OH SO DELICIOUS!!! For dinner we had the catfish. YOU CAN NOT GO WRONG in Oceana. Please see the attached snapshots.
