“Great, tasty food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 29, 2013

Stopped here on a Livingsocial deal and had a great experience with the food and service. I ordered the Oysters Desire which is broiled oysters with parmesan cheese, creole seasoning, & garlic butter. Very rich and delicious, however, I didn't expect that the oyster shells would be over rock salt when I dipped the bread into the plate and met with a way too salty bite. My wife ordered the New Orleans BBQ Shrimp which are jumbo shrimp sautéed in garlic, rosemary & lemons in a rich worcestershire sauce, with garlic bread. She was so happy to try the famed New Orleans BBQ shrimp. They even do old time drinks like Sazerac which was pretty neat. Would definitely come back for another great experience.

“Very Disappointed”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 29, 2013

There were 4 of us dining, and the menu looked very inviting. We ordered the boiled, spicy shrimp it was the best thing we had. The shrimp were large and not to spicy. We also ordered the shrimp and grits, grits were good, the rest was bland and the shrimp was over cooked. One person got the pasta and alligator meatballs, skip this. Another person got the muffalatta, way too much olive salad. The bread they give you was very good. I would not waste my money at this facility.

“Nice!!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 28, 2013

We came in late, with both dogs, now dogs are not allowed, so we waited until a table open to the sidewalk became available, and then they seated us and served really great raw oysters!!! The staff was so accommodating, it was wonderful!!!

“Great Place”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 28, 2013

We were staying at the Royal Sonesta. We had breakfast here and also supper. The food is really good along with the staff. Breakfast staff are really nice especially Helen. Watched some cooking shows that was covering Marti Gras and they made the Muffuletta. I got to try the Muffuletta but only the 1/2 sandwich as it is a lot. This was really good.

4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 25, 2013

I had dinner here recently. I got the craw fish carbonara (soo good and i don't eat much seafood) and a glass of wine. My boyfriend got the steak with chicken fried potatoes, he loved it. Also since its right on bourbon st we had live music playing outside the open windows. very cool experience.
