“Great ambiance, it feels like a French bistro, without imitating.”

It has its own style, is friendly, has a good feel and excellent food. Also the wine can be recommended. All in all a very pleasant experience and I can only reccomend it.

“BBQ Shrimp and Fried Green Tomatos”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 17, 2013

I travel for work quite frequently and I spent over 3 months in NOLA I would eat here 2 or 3 times a week and I always ordered the appetizer portion of both of these. The flavor of the bbq shrimp is amazing and I have never been able to duplicate it. Every year when I go back for Mardi Gras this is a must stop.

“Great breakfast”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 16, 2013

Christmas Eve, the husband & I had breakfast in Desire, which was part of the Royal Sonesta, our hotel. The food was bountiful & delicious, best scrambled eggs, ever. Cafe au lait was awesome. However, the best part of this experience was the staff; they are five stars! While dining, a family entered with two little girls wearing panda hats. Too cute to miss a photo op and that is my pic for this experience. Our window table was on Bourbon Street with the views of morning in the French Quarter.

“Excellent Food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 16, 2013

Place was very busy and had to wait in a queue outside but on for about 5 mins. Well worth the wait. Tried the local Jambalaya and thoroughly enjoyed it. Reasonably priced too.
