It was the afternoon and this place was almost empty. They didn't have a large selection of food. Our server Fannie K was very friendly and explained any questions we had. I had the grilled chicken with potatoes. My partner had the crab cakes. Both meals were good, but i think someone dumped a bunch of peppers into my food, it was quite spicy and i love spicy food. The portions were huge. I would probably return.

I was lucky enough to be in New Orleans during crawfish season and wow... AMAZING! This place had awesome crawfish. We had the grilled oysters, a seafood platter and 2 lbs of crawfish, more then enough for 2 people.
Small wait at the bar but we didn't mind as we could have a drink while we waited for our table. They also make a killer bloody marry ( pickled green beans a must try)! Only waited about 15 min but well worth it.

The seafood platter was pretty good, everything on it was fried thou, it doesn't say that on the menu, but it was still very tasty, the softshell crab and the oysters were a stand out. The grilled oysters were really good, I didn't think anything beat Sydney Rock Oysters.

And then there is the crawfish! AMAZING! If you love seafood get the 2 lbs, it still won't be enough. Just the right amount of spice, everything else seasoned just right.

Rachel our waitresses was really busy but really attentive constantly asking us if we needed anything else, and she also offered to show us how to de-shell the crawfish correctly.

I will be recommending this place to anyone going to New Orleans, it's well priced, informal, busy and most of all authentic.

The menu is heavy on fried seafood. To avoid this, I ordered the barbeque shrimp--somehow it was oily and difficult to eat. The cajun potatoes and vegetables were coated in an inedible powder. Service was slow. This is a "tourist trap" in the purist sense.

had been disappointed with crawfish in other restaurants but this was the exception, delicious succulent crawfish, boiled at the front of the restaurant . spicy sauce this has set the bar. crab stuffed mushrooms oily and bland. Onion rings fried crispy but bland, adding salt perks them up, the salad was lovely and fresh. good service, made the eating experience worthwhile in New Orleons.

I went here with a fairly large group if people and between us we ordered almost the whole menu. We had the opportunity to sample each others plates and by the end we couldnt decide who had the best dish. The crawfish was amazing amd succulent and they oysters were tender and served up in different ways to suit any pallet. I cant say enough good things about our server, either. She was extremely patient with us, answered all our questions amd made some spectacular reccomemdations! This place is on the pricy side though not bad compared to most places youll eat in the quarter, and tge volume and quality of the food you get make it well worth the price! Definitely a must!
