“EVERY VISIT GETS BETTER”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 19, 2013

During previous visits, The Music has always been outstanding, while the food has been "OK".

Recently, the kitchen has really improved & now offers some very nice preparations, at a fair price. The servers are friendly and try to keep everything rolling right along.

If you would like to enjoy the ambiance of an "old time" New Orleans Jazz Club, while also sharing a nice meal, The Palm Court Jazz Cafe is definitely worthy of a visit.

For new visitors to New Orleans, it is worth repeating that The Palm Court Jazz Cafe is well managed as a safe, clean & pleasant venue to enjoy some great music & good food.

Enjoy!!!!

“User Friendly Jazz”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 8, 2013

Probably not for the hard core, but our experience there was quite enjoyable. Good food, fun jazz, friendly staff, and handy to other attractions in the French Quarter. Good times.

“Great Music, Average Food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 3, 2013

If you're going here for a great meal, forget it, there are so many better places. But if you're going here to listen to great music while enjoying an acceptable meal, you will enjoy the evening. I had the Jambalaya. It was pretty dry, especially the sausage. My wife had the Grilled shrimp salad which she enjoyed. She found the veggies fresh and crispy and the shrimp tender. She said it was good but not exceptional.

But we did really enjoy the music. The trombone player was wonderful.

“Authentic Jazz in New Orleans, no lines.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 3, 2013

The best thing about the Palm Court is everything. The food is decent, the ambiance is lovely, the crowd is civil. There is plenty of room to dance. If you do not want dinner it is fine to sit and drink. The music is provided by the same musicians as the Preservation Hall. Except, with out the lines. Much better deal for a relaxing comfortable evening of Jazz in the French Quarter.

“Fantastic music!!! Bad chef!!”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 30, 2013

The music is amazing and worth the evening! But don't expect good food. The chef CANNOT balance flavors. The mushroom salad is pure vinigar and the bordelaise is overwhelming garlic. They need a new chef!
