“Really Good Meditteranean Food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 27, 2014

I love lamb so I usually come here often for their lamb plate. It comes with rice and salad but I prefer to have just Greek Salad with it. The plates are served with warm pita bread. I have had the lamb shank as well and it is so good. The prices are very reasonable and the servings are large.

“Great Gyro Plate”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 11, 2014

If you like Gyros, make sure you grab one here! BEST gyros meat I've ever had. Pita was a little hard so I'd recommend the plate. It comes with salad and hummus. Tons of food, can easily be shared.

“Wonderful Middle Eastern/Meditteranean Food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 3, 2014

We had dinner at Mona's Cafe after a suggestion from a local tour guide earlier in the day. My husband had the lamb shank which was incredible - fell off the bone - best lamb he had ever had in a restaurant. I had the combination plate with beef, chicken and middle eastern meatballs with hummas which was fantastic. The salads were crisp and fresh with a light dressing. We ended the meal with Turkish coffee and baklava that was wonderful. We both agreed it was the best meal of our trip. Caroline, our server, and could not have been more pleasant. Our only regret was that we did not hear about it earlier in the week as we would have gone again.

“Nice lebanese food, reasonable prices, TONS of pita bread!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 22, 2014

Great place to grab a bite. Weird but plentiful tea selection. The meats were kinda meh and stringy/tough but the hummus was off the charts and there was a LOT of pita given with the meal. Think of what you would call more than enough, and then double that amount. There must have been ten pieces, for two plates! Rice was delish and so were the veggies, so vegetarians this place is for you! Great location too, nice to grab a bite while waiting for all the music to begin!

“Beware of the meat, food not very fresh”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 21, 2014

We ordered the falafel, lamb and rice, and mint tea. The falafel was really tasty. Right after the first bite of the lamb we could tell something was off. Lo and behold, upset stomachs that night. We ordered mint tea to soothe our stomachs before we left (because the lamb was already working its magic), and it was clear it had just been microwaved. You can tell when tea is freshly brewed and when it's not. Disappointed I chose this place over everything else on Frenchmen.
