Had a really nice relaxed meal here. Service was leisurely and not obtrusive, which was wonderful because we were visiting with friends and had lots to catch up on. Food was well-prepared and delicious. Would definitely return.

Calm down. I know there are many fine restaurants in NOLA. I'm not trying to slight anyone else's view of dining nirvana. But for me, Tommy's is the go to place. The service this trip, as always, was impeccable. And the food was superb. My wife enjoyed the Oysters Tommy and I was pleased with the seafood gumbo. My wife's entree, fish Capri had her muttering that if there were to be a last meal, it should be the fish Capri. I had the eggplant casserole and can't remember enjoying any dish as much. We both enjoyed our desserts but they were anticlimactic following the main course. I recommend Tommy's to all that visit New Orleans.

Tommy's is a place for celebrating special occasions with old school, high end italian cuisine in an intimate setting.

A large portion of the restaurant is split into rooms which are great for large groups -- it feels like you have the whole place! In addition, the staff and kitchen are great for groups. I have been 2 times with groups of 15+ and the service has always been great.

We have been to the big easy many times and can't believe we didn't eat here before. The food was great. Went to watch the Saints win, then eat at this area to avoid French Quarter madness. Try the seafood sampler. Gumbo was outstanding as is Soft-shell Crabs. Wine and dessert topped it all off.
