This restaurant has been a favorite for years. We can always count on an excellent meal and service with the staff willing to share personal opinions about dishes that are very helpful when trying to decide. Excellent, good-natured service for a group of "high maintenance" diners always makes this place stand out above so many great food establishments in the City. We traveled with someone using a scooter for the first time and they went out of their way to accommodate our friend. MUCH APPRECIATED. We always try to sit by the beautiful curves windows/french doors to enjoy the view.

“Not bad. Good spot to watch Krewe of Barkus parade”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 27, 2013

Service was pretty good, waitress was friendly. The food is variable... crab & crawfish cakes were pretty good. The catfish was tasty, but the rice was bland, and the vegetables were not that great either. My friend's burger was a decent burger that "hit the spot."
I wouldn't make a special trip to eat here, but it was a fair place to rest, drink, eat at when wandering around the french quarter during mardi gras.

“LOVED it!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 27, 2013

We ate here twice! It is a casual restaurant with great food. We really enjoyed the the crawfish cakes, shrimp poboys and don't miss the Quarter Quencher drinks. We were lucky enough to sit in the corner and a parade we knew nothing about came around the corner. We were able to watch the whole parade while eating dinner. Don't forget to try the Banana's Foster cheesecake for dessert! Definitely would return!

“Afternoon Appetizer”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 24, 2013

We would pop in here in the afternoon for a caesar salad, the bacon wrapped shrimp with sauce (excellent)...and a mug of beer. The service here is really good, every waiter we had (all different each day) was great. Quick kitchen, good food.

“Tourist trap”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 23, 2013

Service was slow and the food was not so great. Very much a tourist trap with the fruity drinks in hurricane glasses. The bread pudding was like fruitcake. We were a bit disappointed.
