Very loud and tables are very close to each other. The food is terrific and the service is ultra fast.

“A favorite place for lunch or dinner”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 25, 2013

Whether you walk in for lunch or make reservations(recommended) for dinner, Mr. B's is an outstanding restaurant in NOLA, and a favorite of locals. Love the dark wood, and upscale atmosphere of white linens with silver service and formally dressed waiters. Dress up for dinner, and be aware lunch crowd is not typical "touristy"- more casual business attire- since it has lots of business townies having lunches. All food choice is fresh, local and flavorful with lots of Louisiana creole to experience. Excellent service fits the classy decor, and we have left happy every time we have come here. You don't need a food channel chef's name on the restaurant...just the Brennan family's.

“divine!!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 24, 2013

his was my favorite restaurant in all of NOLA, the food is exceptional, mu husband had the BBQ shrimp and I trout which was covered in crab and almond. and butter yum! The whiskey bread pudding here is also great.

If you go to any restaurant in NOLA it should be here.
Additionally this restaurant is a part of a chain of restaurants owned by the Brennnan family, = Mr B
And they know what they are doing

“Excellent, one of New Orleans best”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 22, 2013 via mobile

From the moment you enter this restaurant, you feel the quality of the experience. Excellent service, totally professional knowing when to be present and add value to the written menu. A wonderful choice in appetisers, salads, entrees and desserts with very tempting chef special dishes. We felt we needed several nights to work our way through the list. Others have mentioned the excellent Gumbo Ya Ya, my first time and am a convert. However the dish of the night was pork belly starter. I have had many of these over the years in at least half a dozen countries, Mr B's is the standout #1, nothing gets near it in quality and flavour. The trout amandine was brilliant and pork chop perfectly grilled with outstanding flavours and accompaniments. Add a great wine selection by glass or bottle and don't know how you could ever be disappointed here. Also option of sitting at bar if on own or place heavily booked. A must do when in New Orleans on pleasure, romance or business.

“My best restaurant meal in several years”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 22, 2013

My wife and I go to New Orleans each year for the French Quarter Festival. Last year we will first went to Mr. B's. We tried it again a week ago. I had the Osso Bucco which was outstanding. The salad and dessert were also excellent. Overall it was the best restaurant meal I have had in several years. The service is excellent. We didn't have a reservation, but only had to wait 10 min. at the bar for a table. We have been to lots of great restaurants in New Orleans and Mr. B's is definitely one of them.
