We were a little worried when none of the NOLA locals we asked had heard of this restaurant, but this was one of the best meals we have ever eaten. The restaurant is pretty small and the atmosphere is informal. We chose the Chef's 5-course Feed Me option. We didn't give him much input - just left the entire meal up to him. Started off with frog legs, fried, with a Cajun "ketchup" drizzled over. Next, crawfish served on a melanton. Third course was amberjack served over sweet potatoes, followed by baked quail with some smoky greens. Capped it off with chicken-fried filet mignon over garlic mashed potatoes ... An unorthodox but brilliant idea. The chef talked to us when each course was brought to the table to make sure we were happy with his selections. The pace and portions of each course were just right. This was a fantastic experience, made better because we left the choices up to the chef. Fantastic!
