We eat here everytime we are in New Orleans. This is an 11 table restaurant, basic decor with a chef with a passion for food. Foods are great, flavors balances, he does exciting things with exciting local food. Staff is terrific. Only complaint-one of staff insists on smoking near the door, then smoke comes into the restaurant. That aside, this is a must place to eat for local food prepared with love, skill and passion.

What a great place. We went for my birthday dinner the night before our cruise. We did the feed me option. We left the dinner in the Chef's hands and he did not disappoint. We had four courses with wine pairings. It was perfect. One of the best dinners ever. The staff was great also. This is a very small place so be aware.

For four out of five of my party the food here was really, really good. The flavors, and the meshing of flavors, and the freshness, served hot, put this restaurant at the very top of our New Orleans experience to date. The Drum Pontchartrain, a whitefish, and the Creole Surf n' Turf, were delicious and beyond. (One in my party ordered a bland and "over- mayonaissed" crab and asparagus salad. I cannot imagine how such a mediocre dish made it into such an extremely fine restaurant, and tend to discount it.) We ordered all three desserts to pass around, and were glad we did.

For those whose entire party is willing to eat whatever the chef plops down in front of you, the "Feed Me?" option is a must. We didn't know about it, and our waiter didn't mention it; otherwise that's what we would have ordered. Others in the restaurant came up to tell us about it -- that's how good it apparently was. And I can tell you that it sounded even better.

It's a very small (40 seat) and quiet place, around the corner from the Prince Conti hotel and one short street away from Bourbon Street. Casual. Friendly. Small wine list, but you need find only one, and we did.

First time here, but certainly not the last! Fantastic food, great service! Had the lamb tenderloin, won't go into details because I don't want to ruin the treat your tastebuds will experience. Don't pass on this place...suggest reservations we were lucky to be seated without as others were turned away.

We ordered the 3-course "feed me" option. The chef came out to ask if there was anything we didn't want. Our starters were frog legs in creole sauce, quail in bourbon and jalapeno, and our entree was pork loin stuffed with crab. All were superb! If you like interesting food--go there when in NOLA!
