“Great!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 19, 2013

Fantastic place for lunch. The crawfish and spinach bisque is awesome. The crafish beignets rocked. The eggplant fries are basically eggplant parmesean but still well done. The owner and his mom are there and greeted us. Worth going off the beaten path for!

“Simply great food!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 9, 2013

A New Orleans local took me and a friend to Katies, not a spot we would easily find on our own. But after strolling the French Quarter for a full day, eating at the touristy spots, Katie's was a welcome stop. I had the BBQ ribs, salad, potato salad and mixed vegetables. Every bite was amazing -- tender, well-cooked, fall off the bone ribs -- partnered with seasoned veggies and creamy salad. Everyone else's meal looked amazing too, and the plates that floated by to other tables looked equally appetizing. Everything on the menu looked good, so I asked the waiter what was his favorite. Great pick!!

“Favorite lunch spot!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 9, 2013

This is one of our favorite lunch spots when in town. Visited two weeks ago and had another great time dining at the bar with the friendly bartender. Started with the spinach crab bisque which was a daily special. It was so good. DH had the stuffed mushrooms - also very good and a very geneous serving. Next, Boudreaux pizza and soft shell crab po'boy. Best lunch ever - until next time!

“Well worth the cab ride”

It's a little far out but saw this restaurant on Diners,Drive Ins,Dives. We had the cajun cuban po boy and were not disappointed. I didn't think the gumbo was anything special.
