Went there for Saturday lunch, had no reservation but got right in. (There were a couple of parties waiting for tables when we left.) Being first-timers, we had a tough time deciding between the Sat. specials and the menu items: grilled shrimp, trout topped with crabmeat, grilled-tuna salad. We got the onion rings, red beans and rice, and fried green tomatoes with shrimp -- in the end, a little too much fried food for us, but everything prepared nicely, including the amaretto cheesecake for dessert! Our server offered us a complimentary champagne cocktail -- the lagniappe for the day! Parking is on-street with meters, even on Saturday; we had no trouble finding a parking spot.
