“Unusual decor, solid eats!”
Reviewed November 25, 2013

We were staying in a condo across the street and knowing that Aaron Sanchez had had a hand in the menu, decided to just slip across the street. Big blues concert going on in the Parish Hall, but we were respectfully shown into the restaurant. Delightful menu of familiar comfort foods and some unusual pairings. Service was definitely with a smile and we had our delicious meal in no time. Loved the feast for the eyes with the unusual decor and architectural points. Would have loved to have gotten into the Voodoo Garden outside one night, but there was so much to do, we missed it. Next trip for sure. Not hi-falutin' good, just good, solid grub. Loved the experience.

“No Blues Music”
Reviewed November 13, 2013

This is another chain resturant similar to Hard Rock Cafe or Plannet Hollywood, which I expected. I did think it was odd that G.W.A.R. (A death metal band) was playing there the night I had dinner. The food was average, the service was great. I don't think I would go again, but the only part I was dissapointed about was the lack of actual Blues music.

A couple salads and ice tea to break the day up. The setting is amazing. Incredible history. Excellent place to wander around and catch up on musical history.
