Patrons have found the massive windows facing Royal Street the perfect backdrop for Crescent City dining. The woody, Old English atmosphere and high ceiling invite guests to sit back and stay awhile. The softly lit and equally comfortable Rib Room bar offers the ideal setting for sophisticated beverages and extensive wine cellar selections. In the restaurant's wine cellar, diners requiring privacy may choose from the "Pipkin", "Wine Cellar", or "Roundtable" rooms, perfect for small gatherings; each discreetly removed from the main dining floor. On the upper level of the Rib Room we feature a private room for groups up to 40 guests. Winner of the prestigious Zagat Award, The Rib Room offers classics such as slow roasted prime rib of beef, aged steaks, fresh Louisiana seafood, and champagne brunch on Sunday.

“Yummy Breakfast”
Reviewed June 24, 2013 via mobile

Our breakfast at the Rib Room was very nice. The Omni Royal Orleans Hotel is very pretty as is the restaurant with its high ceilings and beautiful chandeliers. The staff was very professional and efficient. We had Eggs Sardou which was very good, although there was a little egg shell in it. We also had the Belgian Waffles which were very good, with mixed berries and whipped butter and syrup. The coffee was fabulous! One thing we noticed too while looking around while waiting for our meal, was the very thick dust hanging from the tassels on the drapes. It didn't effect the food, but it. Really needs taken care of. Another note, we told our waiter about the egg shell and he offered to adjust the bill, we told him to just tell the chef to be more careful, as we all know, things like this happen. No harm done. It's all good.

“A great anniversary dinner!!”
Reviewed June 20, 2013

Went here for our 10th anniversary. Reservations were just what I asked for, perfect window seats looking out on the French Quarter evening. The food was excellent, service was more than expected. Thanks Rib Room for a perfect evening!

“Always one of my Favorites”
Reviewed June 17, 2013

Had breakfast at the Rib Room, One of my favorite Dinner spots but this trip we ate breakfast. Went there cause the wife likes loxs and bagels which she enjoyed. I had the Rib Room Omlet which they use the left over Prime Rib and it too was very good. Love the Rib Room. They changed the Dinner menu to more like the original Rib Room menu so I cant wait to return for dinner.

“Father's Day Brunch”
Reviewed June 17, 2013

Had reservation for six at noon. My table was ready when we arrived and hostess greeted us immediately. Server Brian was outstanding. He explained all dishes and specials. Our appetizers were served within 10 min. Chicken livers were great, a little bit too dry, but flavorful. BBQ shrimps were superb. Every dish was excellent and nicely prepared. My father, who doesn't like going out had outstanding day. I will be back in NOLA in the fall and I will visit this place again. Jennifer.

“GREAT PRIME RIB”
Reviewed June 17, 2013

We generally are wary of restaurants located in hotels but the Rib Room proved to be outstanding. A refined, quiet atmosphere, in stark contrast to the cacophony of Bourbon Street just a block away. We were greeted cordially and the service was excellent throughout the meal. Of course ribs are the thing, but there were plenty of other dishes that might have tempted us. Quite expensive but undoubtedly good value all the same.
