Stopped in for a Saturday morning bite and had the Big Breakfast. The chicken fried chicken was juicy, tender and so large that I couldn't even finish it. The biscuit was very light and tasty especially with the house-made jelly. The grits were a little too thin for my liking. Overall, it was a very filling meal for the price. Try to get Erik as he is very informative with the day's menu and make excellent recommendations.

Eat has proven to be our new brunch spot. It's in the French Quarter, but tucked in the back beyond the noise of the three blocks that tourists know of, making it the perfect first stop on a leisurely morning of art gazing and window shopping. Everything is enticing, including the local art on the walls, the clean decor, and lighting that makes everyone look like a model. Eat is certainly stylish but the food is far more impressive than the decorations. We were already picking out the dish we'll try on our next visit before we finished the meal.
