We accidently found this glorious eatery looking for breakfast after a night of alcoholic debauchery. The Eggs Dauphine were exactly what I craved. Delighted with the service, cleanliness and perfectly seasoned meal.

Want to escape the hustle and bustle of Bourbon street yet not have to drive then Eat is there for you. We dropped in based on the reviews here and were blown away by what we found. This is seriously some fantastic food!

We loved the stuffing for the stuffed pepper and the crawfish pie filling was super tasty, if a little too much cheese on top, but i'm splitting hairs. The gumbo was light and enjoyable and the headcheese was delicate, with a superb hot sauce.

Top marks Eat, you've given us a great meal for a little over $50. amazing value for what is served here. Enjoy people!

We ate at Eat twice - once for takeout (crawfish boulette is divine - I still think about it), and once for a leisurely Sunday breakfast. The restaurant is small and comfortable, and the food is pure Louisiana. The best grits we've ever had - creamy and delicious. My breakfast included fried green tomatoes - again the best I've had, and my husband had fried chicken with his breakfast that he continues to rave about. The service was good, the ambiance is New Orleans, and there's not much better than that. If I lived in New Orleans, this place would become a weekly habit.

If you're looking for a delicious South Louisiana inspired meal in a cute setting that won't drain your wallet, then look no further than Eat. The menu is fairly straightforward and has something for everyone. The food is served promptly by their chipper gang of servers--an eclectic bunch who do a fine job of representing French Quarter culture. The dining area feels fresh and welcoming. Eat is one of my favorite places in New Orleans.

P.S. Try their chicken and andouille gumbo. Ermahgerd!

This slightly off the beaten track contemporary restaurant serves modern fusion food in a slick minimalist atmosphere decorated with large portraiture by an artist friend of the owners. The food is fresh and good. The menu is limited in size, innovative and creative, with a couple of traditional creole dishes. The signature fig and Blue cheese torte starter is delicious: savoury + sweet+ balsamic tart. Followed by a cholesterol pill haha.
