The day was cold so ate inside the conservatory but still with the jazz music. So much choice at the lunchtime buffet and good polite cheerful service. If visiting the area again, we shall return.

It's pretty sad when the waiters are dressed better than the customers. My first impression was that if you want to be four star, then please don't allow t shirt dining. The food was good but not the best I have had. The asparagras was large and not tender. The grits in my shrimp and grits dish were not fresh. The bread pudding which was hailed as award winning was too tough to cut with a fork. Our server was on spot and the ambience good. We left with a so so experience.

Enjoyed an excellent dinner with exceptional service. The veal royal court was delicious. Although we weren't hungry enough to have appetizers and dessert we did notice there were a very nice variety of them. We would definitely go back.

This trip was a bucket list deal for my old friend. He'd not been to NOLA since his Navy days in 1957. His first stop was always here with his buddies for "Hurricane's" so he wanted to do that. It would seem the courtyard is for eating only but Patrick, our server, made it possible for us to have a Hurricane there for old time sake. Thanks Patrick. It was the finest Hurricane I'd ever had. Next time in NOLA I'll try this place for supper. It is absolutely gorgeous!
