I eat at Port of Call every time I visit New Orleans. The burgers and baked potatoes are the best! The bartenders don't change so don't leave without their signature drink, the Monsoon.

We loved this place. It's small, and mainly locals eat here. Very old, great bar-
The burger was excellent, served with a baked potato. Everyone at our table loved their meals!
Make sure you order a monsoon. Fruit juice and 2 types of rum!! Delish!
We will definitely visit this place again. Highly recommended!!

Go here with a huge appetite as portions are generous. The burgers were phenomenal served with a loaded jacket potatoe with all of the trimmings. This was the best burger by far in New Orleans. Try a Monsoon cocktail but be warned, you only need 1 or else!

Hole-in-the-wall places are right up our alley! It is dingy and smells a little dank when you walk in - although there were plenty of empty tables it took the staff quite a while to figure out we needed to be seated. (Sign says wait to be seated) Once we we sat down things got better. The menu is very limited (steaks, burgers and baked potatoes only basically) so we all got burgers which was a great choice. Yummy fresh and hot burgers with a loaded baked potato on the side. We all loved the burgers and our waitress was friendly. It is pricey but was really good. Biggest complaint was the crunchy artificial bacon bits on the potato - yuk.
