“Great Po Boys off the beaten path in Faubourg St. John”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 8, 2007

This Po Boy restaurant is next to Bayou St. John in Mid City. This seems to be a popular local place and was crowded even at 1:30 PM. We parked right in front and ordered roast beef and shrimp po boys. They were perfect and about 12 inches long. I highly recommend this restaurant.

“Still Fabulous”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 11, 2006

I first visited Parkway Bakery in 1974 and continue to find my way to this out of the way location whenever I am in New Orleans.
The bar/restaurant has cleaned itself up over the past 30 years.
The best oyster/shrimp po-boys you will ever eat. Since Katrina the kitchen closes early, leaving the bar open.
