The food was great. We got there around 7 and had a 45min. wait, but with room at the bar the wait went quickly. The bartenders were so attentive and if you didn't want to wait for a table you can order there. Oysters are shucked right in front of you! The BBQ shrimp was great. Although the bar has an extensive list of bourbons the bartender doesn't blink an eye if you order scotch, gin or a draft! The dinner menu has many good combinations but they do carry a haute cuisine price. Service is very good and it is a place that has definitely classed up Bourbon Street.

We went for a wedding reception, raw bar good, service great. Our entrees were just ok, nothing to write home about it. Gumbo and salad were great.

And the red fish was delicious! The two places I ate amazing fried oysters was here, and at The Praline Connection. This is a lovely, if large and a bit Grand Central Station-ish, restaurant, with an amazing bourbon menu. We had the single barrel tasting flight and, really, who knew? the three bourbons we tasted were all very different. I could have done a second flight, but we had to walk hall the way back to our B&B and I wanted to be able to stay on the sidewalk. Next time, we'll do the other flights!

We were totally ignored by bartender while waiting for our table. I ordered a margarita when it finally came(we were sitting at the bar !!) it was a poor facsimile of a real one. Serving staff for our food were efficient. Food was just OK

Not great for for the price. Skip the gumbo here. Bbq shrimp weren't anything to write home about either.
