“Nothing Special”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 29, 2012

Nice looking place, close to colleges, but nothing special about the food or service. Nice decor & location. Place is large, with many seating options, & lots of TV's. Waitress was friendly, yet ineffective & slow. Lots of staff sitting around talking.

“LOVE SUPERIOR!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 17, 2012

Another place I've been going to for years because it's just THAT good! If you want amazing Mexican food with a wonderful atmosphere.. THIS is where you need to go :) Take it from a local..! Oh, and their margarita's are to die for! But watch out.. they're STRONG! Of course, that's how margarita's are supposed to be!

“Blech...bad, bad, bad and horrible.”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 10, 2012

They say its hard to screw up Mexican Food. Guess what? Superior manages to carry it off with flying colors. Start with store bought, thin, tasteless chips and industrial quality salsa straight from the jar. Seriously, airplane food is better. Order anything on the menu and you will be guaranteed to get a plate of insipid, flavorless, poorly prepared gunk. Drink lots of tequila, and it may pass for food. You really need to be desperate to go here. Or bombed.

“No taste”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 27, 2012

$27 for fajitas and one coke?? This really is the only tex-mex place in New Orleans and Baton Rouge that I could find. Both places have a great atmosphere but the food is lacking in taste. I had Fajitas at both locations and they sucked. The meat was cut with the grain making it difficult to chew and its cut 1 inch wide. The food was bland , to put it nicely. The restaurants really have the Tex-Mex feel it’s a shame they lack in taste.

“Okay Mexican food, a little pricey”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 26, 2012

The food was not bad and the prices weren't horrible. Living as I do in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas, I expect better quality for lower prices, but for New Orleans it was okay. The restaurant's Number One advantage was being right next door to my hotel.
