“Now this is a restaurant with good food.”
Reviewed January 25, 2013 via mobile

From the time we were seated until the end we were well looked after. The food was excellent (tenderness of the beef was to die for in 'beef tenders in debris sauce'). Thank you.

“Best in city”
Reviewed January 25, 2013

This is a world class restaurant with totally unique food. All aspects are exceptional. Even the smallest part of the meals are exquisite. The gravy has taken several days to prepaire, slowly reducing beef stock. The bread is a meal in itself; a basketful of diffrent unique, beautiful creations of the chef (such as the jalapeño bun!). The menu is a lengthy and constantly changing repitare of the chef's specialities and new creations, with clear descriptions (and even recipient and diagrams as artwork around the room) which the helpful staff are very happy to explain. The place is of a smart French bistro appearance. If you want to experience creole food at its best, come here.

“Great special occasion restaurant”

Delicious food and terrific wait staff! I got a bowl of gumbo and it was seriously good. The rest of my party had different dishes, and they were all outstanding!

“Best in New Orleans”

K-Paul's offers the best prepared New Orleans style cuisine in the
French Quarter. And great service ....as for Rachel.

“Always great for dinner”
Reviewed January 22, 2013

First - don't go for lunch, they do not serve the same food and it is very mediocre.

Dinner is always great. They bring out a nice bread basket with 2 jalapeno rolls, 2 yeast rolls, 2 banana muffins and 2 cornbread muffins. All are very good but the jalapeno are my favorite. They will bring more if you want them.

The fried green tomatoes are a great appetizer. The pan fried rabbit tenderloin with creole mustard sauce was good and very tender but nothing special.

For dinner the best bet is Blackened Twin Beef Tenders with Debris. It comes with potatoes and a veggie. But the steak is super tender and the debris sauce reduction will make you want to lick your plate. You can also have a combo of one steak with the Blackened Louisiana Drum. That is a great surf and turf combo.

Best bets for dessert are bread pudding or Custard Marie Crème Brûlée (with a praline bottom).

Make a reservation online and you won't have to wait.
