“Great locals hangout!”
Reviewed March 10, 2014

Under new ownership, the Dry Dock Cafe & Bar has been around for at least twenty years. There are still some changes that need to be made but the food is always good and can be large in portion. The staff are great and always make you feel welcome.

“old world charm, great food”
Reviewed February 5, 2014 via mobile

On a cold windy day in New Orleans the Dry Dock cafe was a real god send. The free ferry ride over to Algiers was fun if a little blustery. We arrived cold and hungry - the aromas drew us in and the old maritime ambience soon made us right at home. Excellent food - everything exceptionally fresh and tasty. Highly recommend the catfish po'boy. Light, crisp batter that would float away if you breathed too hard and perfect shoestring fries just right for dipping. Great waitress too.

“Still a NOLA favorite”
Reviewed January 20, 2014

This was our third stop in here, and again we weren't let down. It's some of the best food/service/drinks/atmosphere in the area without paying French Quarter prices or dealing with French Quarter crazies. Ride the ferry over!
