“Overcharged and Underserved”
Reviewed March 19, 2013

We stopped by for a bite to eat and a drink, and were sorely disappointed in the food. Bland and overpriced, at least they can't mess up bottled beer.
They did however, double charge our card. When we went back the next day to talk to them about it, nobody was there even though the place was open. We waited around until finally someone came out (after we called "hello" several times) and were told that "yeah, we don't like to take gift cards, this happens all the time, it'll get cleared up in a few days".
That was over a week ago, and we still haven't gotten the money back.
So glad we involuntarily tipped the waitress $50 on a $50 ticket for a Po' Boy, side salad, and a couple of beers.

“Fun dance place”

Drinks were fairly priced for NY, shots were a little high, but a great time was had by all! The dj played all kind of music including hip hop!

“Love, love, love this bar!”
Reviewed March 14, 2013

I lived in New Orleans for 5 months last year and cannot tell you how many afternoons I stopped in here for a beer at "happy hour". The bartenders are very friendly and they serve the coldest bottle beer I have ever gotten in a bar.

I was in town for Mardi Gras in February and went in for a pizza and a beer at lunch. The pizza here is great and, as usual, the beer was cold and the service was wonderful. This is not a typical tourist trap restaurant/bar. A lot of locals eat and drink here. Also, not expensive at all. Give it a try.

“Never again”
Reviewed February 10, 2013

We were there November, 2012 and it was horrible! We went for lunch and waited an hour for our food. They first told us they burned a burger, but it was still another 30-40 minutes before we got our food. Now I cook at home all the time....and I don't have a professional kitchen. I know it does not take 30-40 minutes to cook a burger! Oh and did I mention the place was empty? It's not like there was a ton of orders ahead of ours. We will never be back, and let our group know about our experience as well. So sad...they were getting back a decent reputation.
