We had Sunshine as our waiter and he did a fantastic job. We had crab cakes, gumbo, crawfish ettouffe. My 7 year old enjoyed the popcorn shrimp. We will return here, next time we visit New Orleans.

We just happened upon this place, looking for some place to eat dinner that didn't have a horrible wait. The food was very tasty, my husband highly recommends the chicken and waffles. The food arrived super fast after we ordered, even though it was super busy! My only complaint is that our server never came back by to refill our drinks. We saw her when we ordered, and then when she was bringing the check. Would have otherwise given a 5 on the review.

Great little room on St. Louis Street just behind courthouse. Came in on a Saturday just before noon and sidled up to the bar. Crawfish etouffee was good and washed down with an Abita Amber. Great ambience at one of the old time New Orleans mainstays!

We checked into our hotel across the street, and were starving, so we walked into this place as it was the first we saw. We were not disappointed in the least. The service was great, and the food very tasty. My wife ordered the crawfish etouffee,( first time ever), and I ordered a sampler of Gumbo, Jambalya, and Crawfish etouffee. Both were so good, that we came back twice more on our visit. We had take out one night, and that was just as good, The drinks at the bar were nice as well, and The bartender, Sunshine, was helpful and attentive. Overall, a great experience

If you want to beat the lines on bourbon st, and eat something that isn't just fried, this is your place. The food is great, the artichoke dip, blackened shrimp pasta and the pecan pie in particular were all the best we had during our stay. The service was great also. If you are staying on bourbon st, and looking for something that has better quality food off the main strip, I highly recommend this place!
