Bubba Gump has one thing going for it and that's location. Right smack on Decatur street where people watching is a sport. As far as the food it's not bad but it's definitely not worth the money you pay for it. I had the Calamari and Bourbon Mahi. The Calamari came in an unusual cone shaped bowl with the sauce placed oddly under the cone which made it hard to dip the fish in. The cone shaped bowl made it look like there was a lot of calamari but there wasn't. The very high priced Bourbon Mahi was OK too but not worth the price. Overall the food was decent but overpriced for what you get. This place makes it's living off of tourists looking to pay less for seafood when in actually you can get a better meal at nearly any French Quarter restaurant for the same price you pay at Bubba Gump.
