The restaurant is in a quiet part of Royal St., but still in walking distance from the French Quarter. We had two appetizers and two main courses, and were quite happy with them. Even the Thai cuisine had a slight Louisiana twist, it was excellent and all ingredients were very fresh. We told the waiter that we were used to Thai food and so the basil sauce had lots of fresh chili peppers. We would definitely go again.

This is more of an upscale Thai restaurant. Went for lunch and the food was good. I highly recommend getting the mango rice desert- it will knock your socks off! Because it's more upscale, the portions are not what you get at a typical Chinese restaurant, but it's enough food. The service was good and it has a modern look.

When taking in Frenchmen Street and area, we discovered this great place. Since it's thai food, tourists don't usually gravitate to it in a town like Nawlins, but if you love thai (even if you don't), you'll find this to be one of the better thai places.

Unfortunately, the reviews proved to be accurate that the service can be slow. However, when we politely told them that we had a show to catch at 7 pm (at one of the most fun festivals ever --the New Orleans Fringe Festival in November), they stepped it up. We had two great dishes and a tasty, unusual black rice dessert (and made our show in plenty of time).

Staying in New Orleans for a month and after two weeks got very tired of always eating cajun and creole. Looking for something different, we found Sukho Thai only three blocks from our apartment. We have tried it twice, now. Both times, the food was fresh, flavorful, and skillfully presented. The prices are excellent and the service is top notch. Definitely recommend you check this out if you like Thai cuising at all. It is authentic and the dishes provide you a choice of mild, medium, hot, or Thai hot.

Had a wonderful dinner with a co-worker. We split the different main courses we each got, and split the starters as well. A good way to sample many different tastes. Service was good, portion sizes were large, and taste was very good. I eat Thai a lot at home and this was at least comparable. Lacking was the atmosphere, they need to put some investment into the decor and this would be a really nice little resturant. The place was about 2/3 capacity and I can see service suffering if they only have 2 servers working, as they did on our visit. Price was not bad, comparable for the area. Overall good and will visit again next time I'm in town.
