Must-go breakfast just outside the tourist belt. Lustily celebrates pork, crawfish, shrimp, eggs, grits . . . all the local flavors. "Crabby eggs [Benedict]" a standout among a dozen treats.

My husband and I took a taxi out the Elizabeth's based on the reviews. As promised, the praline bacon was phenomenal! My breakfast po'boy was very good also. My husband got the fried chicken livers based on a recommendation and thought they were a bit dry! The atmosphere is very unique! Definitely worth going a little bit off the beaten path to try this unique restaurant!

Our concierge recommended this place, and that's kind of odd, as concierges usually refer you to more formal and/or expensive places. This restaurant is as funky and local as it gets, and their menu is a very unusual. We had brunch there, ordering eggs with fried oysters, and eggs with smoked pork loin. Never had either one of these menu items anywhere else. The food and service were very good, and it's a fun place because I can't imagine there are many tourists there, only locals. Very very casual, shorts and flip flops seem to be the dress of choice. Fun place and good food!

Down river from the French Quarter, in the By-Water district, you will find Elizabeth's. Even if you have to take a cab, it is worth the fare. Why? Two words - Pralined Bacon.

Seriously, everything we have tried for brunch is wonderful - food and beverage. Because it is so good, there may be a wait for the table. But you can a Ginger Beer Pim's Cup to make the wait more palatable.

Good Coffee, Good Atmosphere. Waitress was very nice and provided options. Boudin Ball Eggs on special was fantastic. Praline Bacon is the best bacon I have ever eaten.

Traditional New Orleans look outside, messy/overgrown. Only thing keeping this from a five star rating is my personal preference against this look.

I'll def return, recommend a visit to all.
