We gave this established restaurant in New Orleans a try for lunch and were quite surprised at our find. It appeared that the patrons were mostly locals as this place is located in a neighborhood. We had wonderful traditional turtle soup and gumbo for starters ($7.50 each) and the salad special ($16.95) and crab salad ($18.75) I thought the prices were a bit high for lunch but when on vacation you splurge a bit. The service is classic New Orleans so you are paying for that atmosphere too! Will try to return for dinner next visit.
