“Fantastic local restaurant”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 23, 2014

Clancy's is a local gem. We had a fantastic night and the food was delicious. We were with a regular customer and it is easy to see why locals love it so. The crab with fired green tomatoes are super yummy and. I loved the smokec pork. The food was much lighter than other "traditional New Orleans" restaurants and I'd be happy to go back. The prices were also not outrageous. This restaurant taught mr to really enjoy a night out in NOLA!

“Great uptown neighborhood restaurant”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 23, 2014

Execellent neighborhood fine dining in the Uptown area of New Orleans. Nice unique takes on many traditional dishes. Great food. Only drawback is that it can be noisy. Well worth the visit.

“Best Restaurant by far in New Orleans!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 5, 2014

Uptown and a long cab ride, but well worth it beyond all imagination. The restaurant has an intimate feel - the waitstaff all in tux and bow ties. The Shrimp Remoulade appetizer was like a party in your mouth - so many tastes - it was amazing! Could have had that for dinner! Ordered the Veal with Crabmeat and bernaise and it too was delicious. Generous portions, all delicious! What a New Orleans secret! Can't wait to return!

“A real locals eatery”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 25, 2014

Its a little of off the beaten track, in the uptown area, but well worth the cab ride. Its an old school restaurant with waiters in black jackets and bowties. The wine list is excellent, heavy on the french and the wine steward was helpful. Great prime filet steak cooked perfectly and the bisque was dreamy.

“Excellent Dinner !”

We enjoyed Veal/Crabmeat and Filet dishes on our visit and they were both wonderful. I highly recommend the restaurant! This restaurant is in Uptown and is a little off the beaten path in a neighborhood, so cabs are a challenge when leaving. They have a cab service (A to Z transportation) that caters to diners at Clancy's. Just know that your going to pay 40-50% more for your return cab ride - $25 + tip to get back in town (It cost us $17 + tip to get there). Another words, we spent $50 in cab rides to eat at Clancy's. You can't go wrong with the Food here !
