Historic location in heart of the French Quarter with terrific food and service. The dining spaces make you feel as if you've stepped back in time while keeping it modern on the palate. The option of a "prix fixe" menu allows patrons to try appetizers, entrees, and desserts for a great price! The gumbo starter was outstanding as was the gouda tart, and wedge salad. Our entire table ordered the pork chops, per recommendation from our waiter, and everyone was impressed! Tons of food for a set menu! The bread pudding and creme brûlée were delicious dessert options. Service was impeccable and very personalized. I would highly recommend you try this!

Went there on a rainy night and had a wonderful meal even though our server was not very helpful. Went with the fixed price menue and was very happy with it.

A wonderful restaurant. In addition to a fantastic meal (the bread pudding was OUT OF THIS WORLD) the decor is eclectic and fascinating. A great place for a business meal or a special occasion. On Chartres at Jackson Square.

My server told me it was rather a new dish, but very well received. I love my veggies, so I gave it a try. My husband thought the description sounded like 'too many flavors', but everything was perfect. Squash, red beets, rice, mushrooms, cucumbers, and more...all prepared in unique fashion. lovely old dining room on Jackson Square.

Maybe we arrived at the end of our server's shift, and maybe the kitchen had run out of the *good* pudding. Both were underwhelming. Our server seemed to be in a hurry to get us on our way, which made no sense since it was around 9:30 and there were a few open tables. The "black bottom butterscotch pudding" tasted quite a bit like Jell-O butterscotch-flavored instant pudding. I used to be a pastry chef, and I know a $6 dessert should taste better than this.
