“Tasty food and moderate pricing”
Reviewed January 21, 2014

The restaurant is in the quiet part of the Quarter on Royal and we bumped into it by accident. The food is standard italian fare but it is very tasty and the pricing was good. A good place for a quiet meal on the way to Frenchmen street!

“Draw your own Mona.”
Reviewed January 19, 2014

This was another find while walking on Royal St to Frenchman. This place has great pizza, try the medditeranian pizza, can't go wrong. While your there draw up your own Mona Lisa on there paper mats and see if you can get featured.

“More Than 3 Stars Would Be A Stretch”
Reviewed January 18, 2014

We went here based on reviews, and I am pretty sure that anything more than 3 stars are by friends and perhaps loyal locals.

This is in the French Quarter, and is quaint as should be expected for the area. My wife and I each ordered pasta dishes and both were cold in the middle of the food. Had the waiter been more attentive and blessed us with the standard table visit a few minutes after serving our food, we could have a more pleasant dining experience. I had to flag our waiter down from the social gathering of employees at the bar in the back of the dining area.

Other than being cold, our food was reasonable, priced reasonably. Our dinner salads were served on cafeteria type plastic tableware, which should be a no-no in NO.

The walls are adorend with various versions and interpretations of DaVinci's famous painting and are pretty amusing.

“Small and fabulous”
Reviewed January 18, 2014

Walked and walked and walked down Royal St. to find this restaurant recommended by a friend. All the best Italian restaurants in my opinion are little bitty. We had excellent service, the best garlic bread I've ever eaten, and delicious eggplant parmesan.

“great little local restaurant.”
Reviewed January 18, 2014

we found this wonderful Italian restaurant by mistake and what a wonderful mistake it was. the staff were very friendly and the food excellent and plentiful. everything was made fresh and tasted good. the restaurant is used mainly by locals so the price of food was very reasonable. it is not a 'posh' restaurant it is more cafe in style which you are made to feel welcome by the staff.
